Specialties
So i'm making this section to help give everyone an idea of how Specialties work. Keep in mind this is not a full comprehensible list of Specialties.
Specialties are never a all encumbrance umbrella. Each Specialty can be used to cover different situation of game play by adding a +1
Physical Specialties
Strength:
"Reserves of Strength" +1 when using a attacker's momentum of strength against them,
(Example :counter moves like Disarm your opponent from an oncoming attack or reversing somes attack.)
"Mighty" +1 when performing feats of Strength. (Lifting)
''Iron Grip'' +1 for holds & clinches
''Broad Shoulders'' +1 to your max carrying capacity
''Body is a Weapon'' +1 to damage rolls when fighting unarmed.
''Bone Breaker'' +1 to breaking bones unarmed
Dexterity:
"Cat-like Reflexes" +1 to reacting quickly avoiding unexpected threats. (Ambushes)
''Swift'' +1 to perform the same action twice in one turn by splitting your dice pool
''Sure Footed'' +1 to balancing feats ( running across rooftops, Tightrope walking etc)
''Deft +1 to complete tasks quickly and effectively
''Light Touch'' +1 to perform delicate operations with your hands. (surgery, diffusing traps & bombs)
''Fleet Footed'' +1 to your movement speed.
Stamina:
'' "Tough as Nails" adds +1 soak dice when your health level is below injured.
''"Pain Tolerance "+1 to ignore wound penalties for a turn
'' Iron Stomach +1 to hold down disgusting food,drinking dead blood, eating food.
'' Toxic Resistance+1 to resist toxins or drugs
Social Specialties
Charisma:
''Comedic Timing" +1 to social cues, telling jokes.
" Charming" +1 to flattery rolls
''Regal'' +1 to instruct your underlings
''Eloquent ''+1 to any situation where your linguistics and vocabulary come into play (proper use of grammar)
Manipulation:
''Persuasive'' +1 to persuade someone to your way of thinking
''Silver Tongue'' + 1 to telling lies
''Smooth'' +1 to handling risky negotiations
''Imposing'' +1 to intimidation based social rolls
''Shrewdness'' +1 to getting the price you want when buying or selling something.
Appearance:
''Sexy'' +1 to seduction
''Captivating'' +1 to grabbing people's attention and holding it.
''Honest Face'' +1 to getting others to trust you or convince them to trust you
''Handsome'' +1 when dealing with fairer sex
Mental Specialties
Perception:
"Detail-Oriented" +1 to picking up on 'small details' others might not see or not pick up on in social situations and subtle changes in environment
''Keen Plate'' +1 to detect subtle senses, or flavors (poisons in food and drink or noxious or possibly hazardous gas in the air)
''Keen eye'' +1 to vision based perception rolls
''Intuitive'' +1 to predicting someone's intent
Intelligence:
''Book Worm'' +1 when reading text to gain information
''Fast Learner'' +1 when trying to learn new knowledge
''Magical aptitude'' +1 when trying to learn new magical rites
''Enigmas '' +1 when deciphering Codes
''Creative'' +1 to inventing new ideas or inventions
Wits:
"combat nerves" +1 to Initiative, keeping your focus in battle
"Level Headed ''+1 to any situation that you must keep focused (does not apply in combat)
''Shared'' +1 to spotting rip offs or bad offers
